- ZuluFox is a planning aid, not an official logbook. Check your times.
- You’re responsible for your logbook and for following aviation rules.
- Pro is a one-time purchase for you: one email, up to 2 of your devices.
- Your times live on your phone. Export them, because we can’t recover them.
1. Who we are
ZuluFox is made by [your name or business name] in [city, province], Canada (“we”). By using the app at zulufox.app or this website, you agree to these terms.
2. A planning aid, not a logbook
ZuluFox works out air time and flight time from the times you type. It is not an official or legal logbook, and it is not approved by Transport Canada or any other authority.
You are responsible for checking every time and total before you record it, for keeping your official logbook, and for following the rules that apply to you and your operator. The tools (crosswind, fuel, wind, descent, units and ISA) are for planning only. Always use official sources and your aircraft’s documents for flight decisions.
3. Use it safely
Fly the aircraft first. Only use ZuluFox when it’s safe and allowed, and never let it distract you from flying. Note your times while you fly and enter them on the ground, after shutdown. Never use ZuluFox while taxiing or flying.
4. Your data
Your times are stored only on your device. We don’t have a copy, so we can’t restore them if your phone is lost, reset or its browser data is cleared. Export regularly and keep your official logbook up to date. See our privacy policy for more.
5. ZuluFox Pro
- Price. Pro is a one-time payment shown at checkout. There’s no subscription and nothing renews.
- Licence. Pro is for your own use, on up to 2 of your devices, under one email. Please don’t share or resell your licence.
- Checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and handles payment, receipts and sales tax. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
- Refunds. If Pro isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of buying for a refund.
- What Pro includes. The features listed at purchase. We may improve or add features. If we ever remove a main Pro feature you paid for, we’ll offer a refund.
6. The Crew Board
Passes on the Crew Board are paid placements. They are not recommendations or endorsements, and ZuluFox doesn’t vouch for any business, school, product or price. Each business is responsible for its own offer and service, and your dealings with them are between you and them. Do your own homework before you sign up or pay.
7. Fair use
Please don’t try to break, copy, resell or get around the limits of ZuluFox, or use it to harm anyone. We may stop providing the app to anyone who does.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep ZuluFox running and accurate, but it’s provided “as is”. We may update the app, and an update may change how something looks or works. We’ll do our best to keep your saved times working through every update.
9. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, lost data, or decisions made using the app. If we are found responsible for anything, the most we’ll owe you is what you paid us for Pro. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. Continuing to use ZuluFox after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. The law
These terms are governed by the laws of [province] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
